A team of experts in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urogynecology and additional specialties shared their skills in Mekelle during the sixth annual Mekelle Medical Education Collaboration (MMEC). For one week in June, they taught enhanced curriculum to any interested local medical professional. The MMEC is an annual program that benefits 60 to 100 students per class.
Dr. Rahel Nardos and Dr. Tracy Spitznagle visited Ethiopia in February of 2018 where they helped provide Intensive Care Unit (ICU) training and OBGYN and PT training.
Founder Dr. Lewis Wall visited Ethiopia in March of 2018, where he checked in on programming and attended the graduation ceremony of our first Urogynecology Fellowship Training Program students!
Board member, Dr. Nardos, visited Mekelle in 2015 as part of WFF’s Mekelle Medical Education Collaboration (MMEC) doctor training program.
